This little known gem to the tourist market has made a big explosion in the polish world especially amongst the massive population of students within the city. I have visited this place many times and have never been disappointed. It is a few blocks north east of the old town and is located in what used to be a tobacco factory. The facility includes a wine bar, cafe, steak house, cocktail bar and vegetarian restaurant, literally everyone has some place to go and be happy.
Wezze is consistently swapping out taps as they sell out and replace barrels, be sure to get in quick if you find something that hits the spot. You can even grab a meat sandwich from the basement restaurant and enjoy it in the bar with the best beer in town.
House of beer
If this place fell down you would see more broken glass than you would bricks and mortar. As you enter you will be mesmerised by the wall of beer, perhaps I am getting little carried away but I love their selection and enjoy nothing more than discussing many of the options with the super friendly staff. They are happy to go through the options with you and make suggestions if you become over whelmed.
A small bar located above a restaurant on ul. Szewska 21, blink and you’ll miss it. A great little place to pop up to and mix with a young Polish crowd who are loving the craft beer scene as much as the North west Americans. More rotating taps, more friendly staff, great prices and so many local craft beers to chose from.
This decent size pub is the place to be in Kazimierz, sit at the bar chat with who ever is sitting next to you and enjoy a beer from the long list of draft beers on at the time. They have a great atmosphere in there with memorabilia from the god father films and random objects dotted about all the place.
